Yes. In order to fully use Sandbox Teacher you or your center needs to have an existing Sandbox Software account. You can signup for a Sandbox Account on your computer here: Sign Up Now
No. Sandbox Teacher is a whole new app and not an update of the existing teacher app. To start using the app you can download Sandbox Teacher from the iOS App store or Google Play Store.
When enabled, you can communicate to your children's parents within Sandbox Teacher using the Messaging feature. These messages will appear in their Parent App account or Parent Portal.
