Parent App Is Ready For BETA

We’re excited to share with you that the Sandbox Parent App is almost ready for release as a free download for parents of all our Sandbox customers. As many of you know, we originally planned to release the Sandbox Parent App in Fall 2018. However, based on user feedback during our initial BETA testing, we decided to add in some important features that were requested, as well as make enhancements to the app so that it would be more intuitive and easier to use.

Adding these features and enhancements has been the top priority for our development team over the past number of months, and we’re excited to announce that the Parent App BETA is officially launching next week! This is a closed BETA period for a very small number of our clients, and it will take place over the next 4-5 weeks. The Sandbox Parent App will be ready to download in early Spring, and once the BETA feedback is in later next month, we’ll be able to provide you with a more definitive release date.

What you’ll love most about the Parent App is how it enables you and your staff to stay connected with parents through messaging as well as by sharing photos, activities and updates throughout the day. And if your parents pay their invoices online, they can pay them quickly and easily through the Parent App as well.

Releasing the Parent App enables us to provide a truly integrated, end-to-end solution that incorporates parent engagement alongside all of the admin capabilities that you already love about Sandbox.

We appreciate your patience as many of you have been eagerly awaiting the Parent App release, and we’re excited for what’s ahead this year at Sandbox with many new features planned for 2019.
